New and Used Honda Pilot for Sale Philippines 2018
We don't really understand why Honda decided to name its mid-sized, SUV model Pilot, but our hunch is that it feels like you're in a mini airplane cabin that’s all ready for take-off. This car is a front-runner if you're looking for a crossover SUV that’s generous on features, high-tech gadgets, and space. Unlike most cars that offer measly 2-row seats, this vehicle throws in three seat rows that can be folded to accommodate large cargos and outdoor equipment. What’s more, its one-touch walk- function allows easy access to the third row, so you won’t have to squeeze in like a pretzel just to get past the first row seat challenge.
Winner of Kelley Blue Book's 2016 Best Buy of the Year and Best Value Brand, the new, third generation Pilot is Honda's flagship SUV to date. It has been completely re-engineered and re-designed, adding better comfort and convenience features in all its trim levels. This vehicle takes on Honda’s Advanced Compatibility Engineering body structure. What’s more, its AWD system distributes engine torque between the left and right rear wheels, giving it excellent weather handling and precise, easy maneuverability on the road.
While many of their car models are being produced in Mexico, the Pilot is still one of the few cars that are made in the USA. In fact, it was produced in Alabama, and designed in Los Angeles and Ohio. The new Honda was introduced at the Chicago Auto Show in 2015, with four trim levels that included: the LX (base model), EX, EX-L, Touring, and the Elite (premium model). However, in the Philippines, the only model available is the EX-L. And The Honda Pilot Philippines has excellent dynamics, giving its competition, such as the Nissan Pathfinder, Ford Explorer, and Toyota Highlander a run for their money.

The new Honda Pilot 2018 in the Philippines Has Finally Been Revealed
Honda Pilot 2018 in the Philippines
How is the 2018 Honda Pilot different from the 2017 model?
It's safe to say that the only thing that bears semblance to the original Pilot is its name. Otherwise, everything else is new--even down to its engine and transmission. Its exterior is also sleeker and less boxier compared to its predecessor, with better safety features that makes you feel protected on the road.

- New Infotainment System
- Econ Button
- Eco-Coaching Ambient Meter
Wh w at is neabout the Honda Pilot 2018 design?
Sharp, luxurious, and stylish, the third generation 2018 Honda Pilot crossover SUV has a much trimmer shape, with a slightly smaller body that's snug yet comfortable for eight passengers to move about. And while the interior cabin slightly got smaller, Honda went all out in making the interiors elegant and classy.

What are Honda Pilot 2018 specs and features?
This car has a revised 3.5 liter V6 engine, with a direct-injection and start-stop system. Its new engine is derived from Honda's EarthDreams Technology powertrain series. With better fuel consumption rate, the new Honda Pilot comes with better technology, adding features like lane-keeping assist, electronic driving aids, and safety features such as the adaptive cruise control feature and crash mitigation.
- Hands-free telephone
- Tilt and Telescopic Steering
- Earth Dreams Technology
- 10-Way Power Seat
What are Honda Pilot 2018 prices in the Philippines?
The price for a new Honda Pilot EX-L starts at almost P3.5 million. Not bad for a car that’s brimming with so many impressive and advanced features. Honda Philippines only offers the EX-L model—which is a shame, really—because we would love to see its other more advanced trims like the Touring and Elite cruising along the Metro roads. Whatever the case, we can settle for any Honda Pilot model, anytime.

Honda Pilot Review in the Philippines
Honda Pilot Specs and Performance
The Pilot has lost a bit of weight -- around 300 lbs, to be exact. One thing we noticed is that it is less noisy, with lighter vibrations and harshness in the engine. Yes, it's not the fastest SUV, but its 280 horsepower from its V6 engine can deliver decent acceleration whenever you need it. Expect the ride to be smooth, thanks to its 9-speed automatic transmission and its Variable Torque Management 4WD (VTM-4) system that injects power to the four wheels under acceleration.
Honda Pilot Fuel Consumption
The Honda Pilot has better aerodynamics, resulting in better fuel efficiency. Here is a list of its fuel consumption rates:
New Honda Pilot fuel consumption:
- Honda Pilot 2018: 11.2 l/100km
- Honda Pilot 2015: 13.6 l/100km
- Honda Pilot 2014: 12 l/100km
- Honda Pilot 2013: 12.9 l/100km
Second hand Honda Pilot fuel consumption:
- Honda Pilot 2012: 12.8 l/100km
- Honda Pilot 2011: 13.9 l/100km
- Honda Pilot 2010: 13.4 l/100km
- Honda Pilot 2009: 13.5 l/100km
Honda Pilot Features
Honda Pilot Convenience and Entertainment Features
The Pilot may not be as sporty as other SUVs in the market today, but drivers feels extremely comfortable with this car, thanks to its good suspension and functional steering capability. The Pilot can accommodate around 8, but the third row is a bit cramped, so it's going to be a tight squeeze if you're seating really tall people. This row is ideal only for children and small adults, while the first and second rows are spacious enough to accommodate all sizes (and height).
- Rear Entertainment System
- Instrument Cluster
- Panoramic sunroof
- Intelligent Traction Mgmt.
- Wireless headphones
- HDMI, Video, Audio Input
Honda Pilot Safety Features
How safe is Honda Pilot? Pretty safe. In fact, better than safe, considering it was awarded 2018 Top Safety Pick by the Insurance Institute of Highway Safety (IIHS). The Honda Sensing offers a host of safety features that really makes drivers feel secure while driving. And the best part: it's available on all trim levels, except for the base LX (which is a stand-alone option).
- Forward Collision Warning
- Lane Keep Assist
- LaneWatch Blind Spot Camera
- Road Departure Mitigation
- Adaptive Cruise Control
- Vehicle Stability Assist
Honda Pilot Design
Honda Pilot Interior
The Honda Pilot has a much softer texture on the doors and dash, giving it a sophisticated feel compared to its predecessor. The generous cargo area has ample space to place all your things, luggages, and equipment, while the center console bin also offers enough room to keep things organized. Gone are its antique navigation system, and the one-touch folding mechanism allows for easy access to the third row.
- Leather interior (optional)
- One-touch walk third row
- Accessory Socket
- Rear Aircon Vents
- Seatback Pocket
- Power Windows, Door Locks
Honda Pilot Exterior
The Pilot said goodbye to its block-like styling, and updated to sleeker lines that resemble a smaller HRV and CR-V. The LED accents in the headlights and the taillight design are quite a standout, in our opinion. Overall, this is one better-looking Honda Pilot. Its body structure has a 3-bone underbody frame design with ultra-strength steel door rings. It's also 3.5 inches longer, with three cubic feet of hidden cargo area and easy-to-clean, reversible covers.
- Smart Entry System
- LED Projector Headlights
- Daytime Running Lights
- Acoustic Windshield
- Power Tailgate
- Power Sunroof w/Anti-Pitch
Honda Pilot Color Options
Can't get enough of the Honda Pilot? Well, you'll certainly get your hands full choosing which color is right for you. There are four colors that Honda Philippines offers:
- Modern Steel Metallic
- White Diamond Pearl
- Crystal Black Pearl
