With 1767 mm of height, the 2016/2018 Kia Grand Carnival 11 seater is 12 mm taller than its 7-seater counterpart. It is heavier, too, with a gross weight of 3,045 kg. It still sports the same shark fin type antenna, but it adopts the 2.2-liter 7-seater variant’s white chrome bar and glossy black grille. Inside, the 2nd and 3rd row are only the sliding, reclining, fold type. Other changes are:

The 2016/2018 Kia Grand Carnival in the Philippines is available with two engines and three trims. The trims offered are the 2.2-liter EX AT Dsl that can carry 11 people, the 2.2-liter EX AT Dsl that can carry 7 people, and the 3.3-liter V6SXL AT Gsl that can carry 7 people. The 2.2-liter turbo diesel engine has a maximum output of 190 hp and a maximum torque of 441 Nm. Its 3.3-liter V6 gasoline engine, on the other hand, produces a maximum output of 266 hp and 318 Nm of maximum torque. All engines are mated to a six-speed automatic transmission with Sport mode.
