2019 Mitsubishi Strada
Overview
Styling and performance are the key selling points for the 2019 Mitsubishi Strada. Now far from when it was first introduce locally, the third-generation Mitsubishi Strada was welcomed with open arms by the local market.
Also known as the Sport Truck, the Mitsubishi Strada is said to be a wolf in sheep’s clothing. With rally-proven specifications and space to boot, this midsize pick-up truck performs like a sedan.
The 2019 Mitsubishi Strada is priced from P1.165 million to P1.670 million. It closest rivals are the Isuzu D-Max, Toyota Hilux, Ford Ranger, and Chevrolet Colorado.
Design
The 2019 Mitsubishi Strada shows its strengths inside and out. From performance to styling, you can tell that it is with aesthetics alone.
With pointed crests all around, the boxy exterior exudes toughness. The X-fascia, which it shares with other models such as the Xpander, Montero and ASX, complements the lines and the slim headlights and squared fog lamps.
The futuristic look outside--thanks to its Dynamic Shield Exterior and pumped up overall design--continues with the powertrain, as it is powered by a 2.4 liter with VGT or a 2.5 CRDi which could as put out as much as 180 horses and 430 Nm torque.
On the interior, the latest-generation Strada is said to have the best-in-class in terms of space, thanks to the bigger legroom (wheelbase is 1,745 mm). Apart from that, it exudes sophistication as it offers leather interior options in the higher variants.
A 2-DIN 6.9-inch touchscreen infotainment display comes as a standard across all variants. The difference is that it can blast powerful music through four to six speakers, depending on the variant you prefer.
The Mitsubishi is tech-heavy as aside from the sound system, its safety features are a force to reckon with. It has three different sets of airbags (dual front, side. and curtain airbags) with additional knee airbags for the driver (all 4x4 variants). Since it has rally-ready performance, the top two 4x4 variants offer active stability and traction control, ABS with EBD, and hill start assist.
Tech-wise, it has a sufficient package. It has either a 7-inch or 8-inch display monitor that can blast music through its six speakers. Aside from that, you can have the option to get the keyless-entry system fitted on the base variant or the passive entry/push start-stop option on the higher models.

Mitsubishi Strada 2019 in the Philippines
How is the 2019 Mitsubishi Strada different from the 2017 model?

- Ergonomic dashboard
- Class leading legroom
- Improved Powertrain
- J-Line
What is new about the Mitsubishi Strada 2019 design?

- Improved insulation and body mounting
- Tilt telescopic steering
- Push button engine start/stop
- Dual zone climate control
What are Mitsubishi Strada 2018 specs and features?

- Super Select 4WD-II system
- Independent Wishbone w/ Torsion Bar and stabilizer
- Recirculating Ball & Nut with Power Assist
- Rigid Elliptic Leaf Spring

- Super Select 4WD-II system
- Independent Wishbone w/ Torsion Bar and stabilizer
- Recirculating Ball & Nut with Power Assist
- Rigid Elliptic Leaf Spring

Mitsubishi Strada Features
Mitsubishi Strada Convenience and Entertainment Features
Designed to be a sport utility truck, the new Mitsubishi Strada emphasizes interior comfort through features such as the J-Line design, which is a clever engineering technique that shortens the wheelbase and increases interior space. This added space results in class-leading legroom for the Strada. Other features include:
- Bluetooth audio
- 75-inch touchscreen
- Tire pressuring monitoring system
- DVD player
- USB and auxiliary ports
- Wi-fi display and network
Mitsubishi Strada Safety Features
The new Mitsubishi Strada has a Reinforced Impact Safety Evolution (RISE) body construction that partners front and rear crumple zones with reinforced beams to effectively absorb force from a collision and direct it away from the vehicle’s interior. The powertrain components are also given impact-absorbing ability, further preventing collision force from reaching the cabin. Aside from the RISE body, the new Strada also packs these enviable safety features:
- Dual SRS airbags
