The Toyota Fortuner has been a legend in the SUV circuits in the Philippines car market. Originally introduced for the very first time back in 2005 in between globally successful models like RAV4 and Land Cruiser, the midsize positioning of the Fortuner proved to be a great formula for those who wanted a big and rugged SUV cars without splurging an astronomical amount of money. The Standard version of the Toyota Fortuner comes in four different variants – G MT, G AT, V AT, and Q AT. The powertrain employed for the LTD version is the same combination of 2.8-litre four-cylinder diesel engine (204 PS of power and 500 Nm of torque) with a 6-speed automatic gearbox as in the Q AT variant of the Standard Fortuner.

The LTD version adds in panoramic view monitor, side and curtain airbags, pre-collision system, lane departure alert with yaw assist, and adaptive cruise control, with the four-wheel-drive variant of it adding in hill descent control as well.
