Chery Auto Philippines (CAP) gave eventgoers a sneak preview of the three new-energy vehicles (NEV) at the ongoing 11th Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit.

In an interview, CAP Managing Director Froilan Dytianquin told Carmudi Philippines that the aforementioned models will be officially revealed by first quarter of next year.
The Chery Tiggo 7 Pro PHEV is equipped with a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine paired with two permanent magnet synchronous electric motors. Facilitating gear shifts is a three-speed dedicated hybrid transmission.
In unison, the said setup allows the Chery Tiggo 7 Pro PHEV to put out as much as 321 horsepower (hp) with 545 Newton-meters (Nm) of torque.
Pure electric driving range for the Chery Tiggo 7 Pro PHEV is rated at 80 kilometers (km).
Meanwhile, the Chery EQ7 packs a single permanent magnet synchronous motor complemented by a single-speed automatic transmission.
Power output peaks at 208hp while maximum torque is at 285Nm.
The Chery EQ7 is equipped with a 67.12 kilowatt-hour (kWh) battery that offers an estimated emissions-free range of 512 kilometers (km).
On the other hand, the Chery EQ1 gets a battery pack with a capacity that’s a little over 35kWh. Its estimated all-electric range is rated at 281km.
It is, however, running the same electric powertrain setup as its bigger brother (the Chery EQ7), which is a permanent magnet synchronous motor and a single-speed automatic transmission.
CAP is expected to share more details about the vehicles by early next year.
