2017 Vios Cup Round 2 Scheduled This Weekend in Clark Speedway

The Toyota Vios takes to the track once more as Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) is staging the second round of the 2017 Vios Cup this weekend on June 10 at the Clark International Speedway in the Clark Freeport Zone in Pampanga. A total of 52 race car drivers from 45 teams will take to the track and fight for the top three steps of the podium in their respective categories: Super Sporting Class, Sporting Class, and Promotional Class. Joining them on the grid are six celebrity racers: actor Jake Cuenca, sportscaster Gretchen Ho, fitness influencer Aubrey Miles, actresses Jasmine Curtis-Smith and Ella Cruz, and actor & TV host Dominic Roque. Hosting the event is veteran racer Gaby dela Merced and TV host & motorsports enthusiast James Deakin. Food trucks will be present at the venue to cater to the attendees while various activities will also be there to entertain the kids. "Coming from a successful Race 1 this season, the Vios Cup continues to prove that this racing program is bigger and bolder since it was first launched in 2014," said TMP President Satoru Suzuki in a statement. " This coming long weekend, we look forward to Race 2 wherein we expect more action to pan out both on and off the track."
