Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) has just launched this year's edition of the Hilux. More of a refresh than a general upgrade, the Toyota pickup sees some changes inside and out, along with the addition of a new variant, the more commercial-minded 4x2 Cargo MT.The 4x4 G—both the automatic and the manual transmission version—has been discontinued for this year.
The new Toyota Hilux now sports the trapezoidal grille similar to the one on the US market Tacoma. At the back, E-shaped taillights lend the tailgate some style points over the predecessor. Updates are more subtle inside, with blue ambient lighting as the only major noticeable change.
