The Jaguar I-Pace looks to prove that it’s not just the sleekest, but also the smartest cat in the EV segment. The upcoming 2022 version of the electric SUV will come with a slew of updated features, said the British luxury automotive marque.

Providing improved battery performance for the new I-Pace is an 11kW onboard charger that can replenish up to 63 miles of range in 15 minutes. This pairs well with an impressive dual-motor design and lightweight construction of Jaguar’s 394hp all-electric SUV which speeds from zero to 60mph in just 4.5 seconds.

The new Jaguar I-Pace now features an improved infotainment system with more driver-focused technology. Equipped with the latest Pivi Pro, the EV SUV gives drivers access or view up to 90 percent of common tasks from the home screen in two taps or less.

The Pivi Pro also aids in adding charging stations to your route automatically which makes driving more convenient. Through the intelligent system, Pivi Pro can select the optimum chargers to minimize total journey time.

During long drives, Pivi Pro can also display the predicted charge level on arrival at each waypoint. Maps in the system remain up-to-date through software-over-the-air (SOTA) functionality.

What’s hidden underneath is matched by the enhanced exterior features of this sleek EV SUV. The 2022 I-Pace will feature an Atlas Gray grille tip finish. In addition, the carmaker will offer an optional Bright Pack bundle that comes with a Noble Chrome grille surround, Atlas Gray door mirror caps, Satin Chrome window surrounds, and Atlas Gray rear diffuser.

A Black Pack option adds a gloss black finish to the rear badges.

New colors for the I-Pace include Aruba, Caldera Red, Portofino Blue, and Eiger Gray.

The 2022 Jaguar I-Pace will be made available in a single HSE variant. Standard inclusions are 16-way heated and cooled powered Windsor leather front seats, premium LED headlights with signature DRL and auto high beam assist, powered tailgate, and 20-inch five-spoke gloss dark gray wheels.

Safety features of the award-winning I-Pace include adaptive cruise control with steering assist and stop&go, head-up display, emergency braking, blind-spot assist, clear exit monitor, driver condition monitor, lane keep assist, and traffic sign recognition with adaptive speed limiter.

The upcoming Jaguar I-Pace will initially be sold in the US market with prices starting from US$69,900.
