2022 MIAS: MG PH immerses public on British heritage, roster at MG Concourse

The local distributor of Morris Garages curated an exhibit that will help visitors of the 2022 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) experience immersion on the brand's British heritage.

According To MG Philippines, the display exhibit — dubbed as “The MG Concourse” — denotes a convergence of cultures, while offering a safe and exciting venue where people may congregate and establish a deeper connection with the MG brand.

Seen at the MG Philippines exhibit are the brand's full lineup locally, a special 3D-mapped “Spotlight Mode” that helps visually illustrate the many facets of the brand by altering the exhibit’s look and feel.

MG Philippines President and Chief Executive Officer Atty. Albert Arcilla said that the company continues to be focused on delivering products and services that “strongly resonate with the Philippine motoring public.”

Spearheading the company’s vehicle display at the event are the the 2022 MG HS, and the upgraded variant of the MG 5 sedan: the MG 5 Core Plus.

Powered by a 1.5 inline-4 DOHC turbocharged petrol engine that can generate up to 167hp and 250Nm, the newly-revealed MG HS was given an introductory cash price of P1,158,888 for the Alpha trim and P1,208,888 for the Trophy variant.

After that, the retail price of the two will be as follows:

• MG HS Alpha 1.5T: P1,258,888
• MG HS Trophy 1.5T: P1,308,888

Meanwhile, the MG 5’s latest option features a 10-inch color display touchscreen equipped with both Apple Carplay and Android Auto; a reversing camera; and two additional loudspeakers.

Retailed for P748,888, the MG 5 Core Plus can be acquired at the following promos:

• Cash discount price: P683,888
