2022 MIAS: Trailblazer, Tracker takes Chevrolet PH centerstage

Chevrolet Philippines — which is under The Covenant Car Company, Inc. (TCCCI) — gave its centerstage at the 2022 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) to two models that were recently introduced in the country: the Trailblazer and Tracker.

Aside from the two sport utility vehicles (which were introduced in October and July last year), the Golden Bowtie’s local arm also showcased the Tahoe and the iconic badge, 2022 Camaro at the Chevrolet Hub display area.

“We are excited to present the refreshed Chevrolet Philippines SUV and sports car vehicles at the Manila International Auto Show. More importantly, we are proud to show the North American products that will be made available to the Philippine market," Chevrolet Philippines President and Chief Executive Officer Atty. Albert Arcilla was quoted as saying.

"This current car line-up builds on the rich Chevrolet legacy. We feel that all these models will complement the transition program and growth of the Chevrolet product portfolio and offers and will cater to the discerning preference of our owners and buyers,” he added.

Powered by a 1.3-liter double overhead cam turbocharged gasoline engine, the Chevrolet Trailblazer is offered in two variants: the Premier trim (retailed at P1,621,888) and LT variant (P1,488,888).

Meanwhile, the Chevrolet Tracker — which has 1.0-liter DOHC Ecotec Turbo power mill — is retailed at the following prices: the LT Redline for P1,242,888 and the LS option for P1,142,888.

Meanwhile, the 2022 Chevrolet Tahoe 4x4 Z71 also received some attention by making its first public display at the four-day event.

Fitted with a 5.3-liter Ecotec3 V8 engine that is mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission with Electronic Precision Shift, the full-size SUV is available through pre-order at authorized Chevrolet dealerships nationwide for P4,749,888.

Lastly, the red-hot Chevrolet Camaro RS completed the featured vehicles in the company's display area. The legendary nameplate — equipped with a 2.0-liter turbo intercooled all-aluminum engine matched to an eight-speed paddle-shift automatic transmission — is priced at P3,298,888.
