2025 PH-retailed Toyota GR Yaris now available in AT trim

MANILA: The 2025 Philippine-retailed Toyota GR Yaris can now be had in two transmission options.

Now available in dealerships nationwide, the sporty hatchback’s refreshed iteration is offered in manual and automatic transmission versions.

According to Toyota Motor Philippines, the aforementioned car will also be on display at the first race weekend of this year's Toyota Gazoo Racing Philippine Cup set on March 22 at the Clark International Speedway.

The 2025 Toyota GR Yaris still measures the same as its predecessor.

Despite this, the car — TMP shared — sports a more aggressive design to highlight its “rally-bred heritage.”

The 2025 Toyota GR Yaris wears three-tiered manual leveling headlights, daytime running lamps, and rear combination lamps that are all on LED as well as 18-inch aluminum-forged wheels wrapped in 225/40 tires, and a rear spoiler.

Its color options are Super White, Emotional Red, Precious Black, and Precious Metal.

Interior

Inside the new Toyota GR Yaris are the following amenities:

• 12.3-inch thin film transistor cluster gauge with tire pressure monitor
• Seven-inch display audio with wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto connectivity
• Synthetic Leather/Suede seats

Powertrain

Powering the car is fine-tuned three-cylinder, in-line, double overhead cam, four valve Roller-Rocker 1.6-liter engine (G16E-GTS) engine that can dish out:

• Intelligent clearance sonar
• Improved Toyota Safety Sense package with blind spot monitoring and rear cross traffic alert

Aside from that, the Toyota GR Yaris AT trim boasts a Dynamic Radar Cruise Control while the MT trim has adaptive cruise control.
