MANILA: Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) has maintained its supremacy in the local truck segment for 25 years.
As stated in the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines Incorporated -Truck Manufacturers Association joint report, the Japanese truckmaker’s arm in the country sold 4,591 units in 2024 — cornering 41-percent share of the market.
With its performance, the company has secured its newest Triple Crown achievement by being the leader in all three categories: light-, medium-, heavy-duty.
Per IPC, the latest milestone serves as to its “unwavering commitment to quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction.”
The firm’s strong retail output was led by the N-Series light-duty truck offerings, which is Isuzu’s strongest nameplate for almost three decades.
A total of 2,812 examples were handed over to customers last year — which represents 43-percent share of Category III.
According to IPC, the model’s success can be attributed to its fuel efficiency, durability, versatility, and advanced safety features.
Here are the Isuzu N-Series’ notable features:

An automated manual transmission version of the truck (called the N-Series Smoother) is already available in the Philippines.
"The Isuzu N-Series continues to be the top choice for Filipino businesses due to its unmatched combination of durability, fuel efficiency, and adaptability to various business applications," IPC President Tetsuya Fujita said.
"We are proud that our light-duty trucks have remained a staple in the industry, providing dependable solutions that help businesses grow and thrive," he added.
As mentioned earlier, the truck distributor is also the leader in the medium- and heavy-duty truck categories last year.
Here is IPC’s retail performance in the said segment:

IPC’s strength in the medium-duty truck division is the F-Series models that cater to logistics, cold chain, and industrial hauling needs (markets that have grown significantly over the years).
Complementing the popularity of its trucks, IPC also credited its success to its aftersales services and customer support collectively known as the "Isuzu Advantage."
This comprehensive support system offers:
"Our commitment goes beyond selling trucks; we are dedicated to being a reliable partner for our customers by offering comprehensive aftersales support that ensures their trucks remain in optimal condition throughout their lifespan," Fujita noted.
"We will continue to provide our customers with exceptional service, ensuring that Isuzu remains their 'Responsible Partner' for years to come."
Moreover, Fujita thanked its customers for their continued patronage and trust in the Isuzu brand.
“Your support has been instrumental in achieving this milestone, and we promise to continue delivering reliable, durable, and innovative transport solutions that drive your businesses forward."
