2nd-gen Honda BR-V breaches 3,000-unit sales mark in PH since launch

Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) is enjoying good retail numbers with the all-new BR-V since its introduction late last year.

In a statement, the Japanese automaker’s local distributor said that since the vehicle was launched in November 2022 the company has delivered more than 3,000 units to customers around the country.

The All-New Honda BR-V is powered by a 1.5-liter gasoline-propelled engine mated to either a six-speed manual gearbox or a continuously variable transmission (CVT), which can deliver 119 horsepower (hp) and 145 Newton-meters (Nm) of torque. The same setup allows the vehicle to have a fuel economy of 24.71 kilometers per liter (kpl) for the 1.5 V CVT; 23.49kpl for the 1.5VX CVT Honda Sensing; and 22.62kpl for the 1.5 S CVT trim.

Further, the all-new Honda BR-V was honored with a five-star rating from the New Car Assessment Program for Southeast Asian Countries (ASEAN NCAP). Fitted in all variants is the vehicle stability assist (VSA) that helps maintain control in emergency maneuvers. Meanwhile the top-of-the-line variation comes with Honda Sensing suite of safety and driver assist technologies.

The all-new Honda BR-V is offered in four variants with no increase in the suggested retail prices:

• All-new BR-V 1.5 S MT: P1.09 million
• All-new BR-V 1.5 S CVT: P1.15 million
• All-new BR-V 1.5 V CVT: P1.295 million
• All-new BR-V 1.5 VX CVT Honda Sensing: P1.39 million

Moreover, buyers of the all-new Honda BR-V may choose on the following body color options:

• Premium Opal White Silver Pearl (new color; VX CVT and V CVT, additional P20,000)
• Meteoroid Grey Metallic (new color; all variants)
• Crystal Black Pearl (V CVT and S CVT)
• Lunar Silver Metallic (all variants)
• Taffeta White (S CVT and S MT)

Those who want to get the 2023 BR-V 1.5 S CVT may avail a unit through the special offers under the "Hot Rides Cool Deals sales campaign" offered until the end of the month: P20,000 promo discount; special all-in down payment for as low as P20,000; or monthly amortization as low as PHP 21,259.

Relatedly, owners of the all-new BR-V can now personalize their vehicles with an expansive array of genuine accessories for its seven-seater offering, which are designed to “ensure compatibility and functionality for the years to come.”

 To provide its customers with better convenience and low maintenance cost throughout vehicle ownership, HCPI prescribes only two preventive maintenance service visits annually, or every six months or 10,000 kilometers, whichever comes first.
