Porsche Philippines has brought in the third-generation of the Panamera.
In a statement, the Stuttgart-headquartered marque’s local arm shared that the all-new version boasts advanced digital features, luxurious comfort, and exhilarating performance.
Under the hood of the all-new Porsche Panamera is a 2.9-liter V6 turbo engine that can dish out a peak output of 348 horsepower and 500 Newton-meters of torque. The front-engined offering can run 100 kilometers per hour (kph) from rest in 5.2 seconds and sprint at a top speed of 272 kph. The said engine is matched to an eight-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung transmission.
Per Porsche Philippines, the powertrain has been adjusted to improve fuel utilization without compromising performance.
Assuring comfort and vehicle stability is the all-new Panamera’s dual-chamber two-valve air suspension with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) as standard. On the other hand, its stopping comes from the aluminum monobloc fixed calipers (360-millimeter [mm> six-piston at the front and 330 mm four-piston internally vented and slotted type for the rear).
In terms of styling, the model’s iconic silhouette has been retained but gives out a more athletic look with its updated front air intakes and a sleek rear window line to improve aerodynamics and visual appeal.
The model has the standard matrix LED headlights and is offered with 20-inch Panamera Turbo wheels.
Inside, its Porsche Driver Experience cockpit concept has been meticulously devised to make sure essential controls are within reach for a more intuitive operation with less distractions.
Its cabin is mostly covered with luxurious materials such as Nappa leather for comfort and fashion.
Its convenience features include the Porsche Communication Management (PCM) for seamless connectivity and digital interaction, Apple CarPlay- and Android Auto-ready infotainment system with Bose Surround sound system setup, four-zone automatic climate control, along with the electric roll-up sunblinds behind the rear compartment and on the rear side windows.
The price of the all-new Porsche Panamera is around P12 million.
