Bentley is offering its customers a rare opportunity to own a piece of automotive history.
Five Mulsanne Grand Limousines hand-built by the British luxury carmaker’s in-house bespoke coachbuilder have recently become available for hopeful customers wanting to own a unique automotive commission.
Originally created as a private commission, Bentley Mulliner was given consent to build a limited run of cars for like-minded customers. According to Bentley, the five Mulsanne Grand Limousines — made in 2015 — were delivered to customers but were never used or registered.
With the discontinuation of the Mulsanne last year, owning any of these limousines will give customers the chance of acquiring a collectible automotive piece.
Inside, the Mulsanne features a cabin arrangement inspired by luxury private aviation with opulent leather and wood trims. Its interior amenities include a bottle cooler with crystal flutes, a beverage cabinet with bespoke crystal tumblers, folding picnic tables, three handmade dials (displaying the external temperature, UK and local time) as well as iPad docking and charging stations.
An intercom allows the passengers occupying the four seats that face each other to communicate with the driver. An electrochromic “smart glass” gives the passengers complete privacy.
Betley designed a custom heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC) system which provides each of the four rear passengers control of their own micro-climates.
The five Mulsanne Grand Limousines come with their own unique finishes:
The limousines can be bought through Bentley’s retail partner in the United Arab Emirates, Bentley Emirates, with delivery anywhere in the world available as required.
