Hyundai Motor Philippines (HMPH) is displaying the all-new Santa Fe to the public prior to its much-awaited official introduction in early 2024.
Since December 30 last year, the forthcoming midsize sport utility vehicle was showcased at the C1 Park Bonifacio High Street Central located in Bonifacio Global City (BGC) in Taguig as part of the New Year’s Eve revelries in the area dubbed “NYE At The 5th".
HMPH shared in a statement that the highlighted SUV – wearing a Terracotta Orange hue (one of the model’s six body color options) — will still be up for viewing at the same area until January 12, 2024.
The display followed the sneak peek event that the the Korean automaker’s arm in the country last month.
During the aforementioned press event, HMPH Managing Director Cecil Capacete announced that the sixth-generation Hyundai Santa Fe shall be launched in the country come the first quarter of 2024.
Meanwhile, HMPH General Manager for Sales Victor Vela said that the Santa Fe “maintains the practicality and performance” that customers have grown to love while sporting major aesthetic updates.
“We wish to keep some things a little private until its official launch. So, please just wait a little longer as to the final pricing and specs,” Vela teased.
As seen in the two events, the all-new Santa Fe (unveiled globally July 2023) is seen to have a more chiseled design compared to the outgoing version’s flowing silhouette.
The offering previewed during the earlier event came in two color options: Ocado Green Pearl and Terracotta Orange. They are both donning the 2.5T HTrac badge and are equipped with 2.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engines.
In addition, the all-new Santa Fe features -shaped head- and tail lamps, as well as C-pillar handles and sits on 21-inch wheels wrapped with 245/45 Kumho Ecsta tires.
For its interior, the soon-to-be-launched model is outfitted with a panoramic curve display at the dashboard, bi-directional multi-console, two wireless charging docks, and leather-covered seats.
