“Huwag pong basta-basta makikipag-transaksyon sa mga indibidwal o grupo na hindi awtorisado (never transact with unauthorized individuals or groups),” LTO Region 4A CALABARZON (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, and Quezon) stated in a social media post.
“Para sa inyong kaligtasan at upang maiwasan ang anumang legal na suliranin, makipag-ugnayan lamang po sa mga opisyal na tanggapan ng LTO para sa anumang transaksyon o pagkuha ng kaukulang dokumento. Tandaan, ang tamang impormasyon at serbisyo ay makukuha lamang mula sa LTO (for your safety and to avoid any legal problems, please contact only the official offices of the LTO for any transaction or obtaining the corresponding document. Remember, correct information and services are only available from the LTO),” it added.
The country’s land transport bureau reminded motorists to be cautious, and critical. Motorists are also recommended to report any suspicious activity.
