Nissan’s first all-electric vehicle, the Leaf, is now available in the Philippines. The Leaf brings some serious credentials to the local EV scene where it faces very little competition.
Since its arrival in the local automotive scene, we’ve started to see several Nissan Leaf models plying our roads. And if you count yourself among the many who are curious to see what’s inside this eco-friendly car, then you’re in luck. Today, we will take a look at what’s inside the Nissan Leaf.
The Nissan Leaf does its best to remind you that it is indeed an EV. While the cabin of the Leaf is no different from many of today’s internal combustion cars, drivers and passengers will notice the presence of blue stitching all over the interior. You’ll find them on the steering wheel, on the seats, on the dashboard, on the center armrest, and on the door panels.
There are also similar blue accents on the gear shifter, the push start button, and the instrument cluster.
Speaking of which…
The Nissan Leaf uses an instrument meter with Advanced Drive-Assist Display TFT with Nissan Animation Meter and EV information. Here, helpful information is within the driver’s reach such as battery life and available range. On the side is an analog speedometer.
At the center of the dashboard is an eight-inch infotainment system that has Bluetooth, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay functionalities. Audio is sent to six speakers placed inside the vehicle.
The infotainment unit also doubles as a rearview monitor.
The Nissan Leaf also offers a decent boot space for your daily necessities. The back seat folds down allowing the EV to accommodate anything from four golf bags to one bicycle.
The Nissan Leaf is currently available in a single variant and is priced at P2,798,000.
