Despite being new to the segment here, the MG HS has quickly gained a solid following. Thanks to its good looks, and impressive resume, this subcompact crossover has easily won the hearts of many. Who wouldn’t want a sleek and clean-looking SUV, right?
And just like its exterior, the interior of the MG HS offers a more refined riding experience. Interested to find out how? Join us as we check out what’s inside the cabin of the MG HS.
One of the best assets of the MG HS is its suite of modern amenities. These include the dreamy digital panels found past the steering wheel and atop the dashboard. The former is a fully digital 12.3-inch instrument cluster that displays relevant driving data in clear and crisp detail. The latter, on the other hand, is a high-definition 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system that boasts Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
Together, the two large screens create an air of dreamy digital refinement.
Also found inside the MG HS are customizable ambient interior lights that not only provide some level of illumination but also help one create a more personalized cabin ambiance.
Another highlight of the MG HS is its bucket seats.
The body-hugging design of the front and rear seats can help occupants of this compact crossover enjoy comfortable journeys — both short and long. They are countoured in a way that they support your back and your buttocks, plus the material used to wrap them are not too soft nor too firm. The front seats also have a six-way power control feature so you can easily adjust your sitting position to best suit your driving needs.
The same leather finish can also be found on the crossover’s steering wheel, armrests, and shift knob.
Giving the MG HS a more refined feel inside the cabin is its large panoramic sunroof. It opens up nicely to provide passengers a good amount of sunlight, especially when they want to feel close to nature during out of town trips blessed with good weather.
The glass panels are also heavily tinted which helps dissipate the heat should the passengers like to bask in the beauty of the sun’s natural light.
The MG HS is available in the Philippines in two variants: Alpha and Trophy. The former is priced at P1,258,888 while the latter sports a sticker price of P1,308,888.
