AC Motors, Bosch PH to enter aftermarket service industry
AC Motors is partnering with Bosch Philippines to enter the local aftermarket service scene and reintroduce Bosch Car Service (BCS) in the country.

Per the two brands, they look to open a network of 20 outlets in 2024, and 60 outlets within the next five years.The said partnership will look to cater to vehicles past their warranty periods and offer casa-level service without the casa-level price.
“We have long seen the automotive aftermarket segment as a key touchpoint in the customer life cycle. Ayala and Bosch have a long history of collaboration, and it is also through Bosch we have found the ideal partner to bring casa-level service and affordable but high-quality parts to Filipino motorists,” AC Motors Chief Executive Officer Jaime Alfonso Zobel de Ayala noted.
During the official signing ceremony for AC Motors and Bosch PH’s new venture, Bosch Automotive Aftermarket ASEAN Vice President Marcio Coelho stated that the new venture will play a significant role in reshaping today’s car services scene in the Philippines due to what the two companies can offer its customers.
“We are proud to embark on the journey alongside our strong partner the Ayala Group, to reshape the car service scene today in the Philippines by incorporating integrated vehicle technologies and expand our global network of independent workshops, today already at 12,000 BCS across 150 countries,” Coelho explained.
BSC — the two companies pointed out — will offer car owners “one-stop-shop services” with “bumper-to-bumper” solutions. The services to be available in future BSC workshops include anything from mechanical repairs to intricate electronics, engine systems, safety features, comfort upgrades, transmission expertise, as well as a host of other services and diagnostics.
And speaking of workshops, AC Motors and Bosch PH plan to open a network of 20 BSC branches by next year. The number will grow by 60 come 2029.
Further, the said BSC workshops will be equipped to serve the large and growing number of internal combustion engine vehicles, but AC Motors and Bosch also plan to gradually roll out electric vehicle repair and maintenance capabilities at select locations to support the shift towards electric mobility.
“We are confident that we can leverage AC Motors' extensive experience in aftersales operations to be able to provide our customers with a level of service not seen in the aftermarket segment today. Together with Bosch, we aim to bring this experience to as many motorists as possible, as we aim to grow Bosch Car Service into the country’s largest automotive aftermarket service provider within the decade,” AC Motors President Antonio Zara said.
