ADVISORY: DPWH to repair select Metro Manila roads this weekend
Several portions of roads in the National Capital Region will undergo reblocking and repair works over the course of the weekend, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) announced.

According to the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority, the repairs will start at 11 p.m. tonight and will be completed by 5 a.m. of May 2.In an advisory, the agency said that the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will conduct reblocking and repairs on the following roads starting 11 p.m. tonight:
- EDSA Guadalupe Makati City northbound innermost lane (bus way) from EDSA Guadalupe footbridge going to EDSA Guadalupe Cloverleaf (near Guadalupe MRT Station)
- EDSA Quezon City northbound EDSA Quezon City southbound P. Tuazon Aurora Boulevard first lane from sidewalk (intermittent section) and Aurora Boulevard to Arayat first lane from sidewalk
- C-5 Road northbound (third lane) before McKinley Road
- C-5 Road southbound Makati City along second lane near elevated U-Turn
- EDSA-southbound Caloocan City before Biglang Awa Street, (third lane from sidewalk)
- West Avenue, Quezon City between Bulletin Street and Times Street (first lane from sidewalk)
- Mindanao Avenue northbound, Quezon City from Shell Gas Station to Road 20 (second lane/ truck lane)
- Along EDSA southbound Quezon City Service Road corner 11th Jamboree to Timog Avenue intersection- opposite of Mapagmahal Street to Kamuning Road (second block from sidewalk)
- P. Garcia Avenue bound to Katipunan Avenue, Quezon City (C5) fronting Institute of Mathematics (first block from sidewalk)
- C-5 Road Pasig City along Pasig Boulevard southbound in front of North American Automotive and along Doña Julia Vargas Westbound in front of Banco De Oro
- Along A. Bonifacio corner C3
According to the MMDA, the aforementioned portions will be fully passable by 5 a.m. Monday (May 2).
Motorists are advised to take alternate routes
