ADVISORY: DPWH to undertake weekend road reblocking

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) announced that the agency will perform road reblocking and repairs on the following roads starting 11 p.m. tonight, March 31, until April 3:

    • C-5 Road southbound between Lanuza Avenue and Green Valley Footbridge, Brgy. Ugong (truck lane), Pasig City
    • C-5 Road after Elevated U-Turn Slot (third lane from median island), Pasig City
    • Epifanio delos Santos Avenue (EDSA) southbound near Estrella Street and near Ayala Avenue, Makati City (rotomilling/ asphalt overlay only)
    • EDSA northbound near MRT Buendia Station (innermost lane), Makati City
    • EDSA southbound fronting Unioil and before Bansalangin Street (outer lane/ first lane from sidewalk), Quezon City
    • EDSA southbound before Dario Bridge and fronting Lemon Square Building (outer lane/ first lane from sidewalk), Quezon City
    • Luzon Avenue northbound flyover to Congressional Avenue  Extension (inner lane/ first lane from plant box), Quezon City
    • Commonwealth Avenue westbound Doña Carmen Street to Odigal Street (fourth lane from center); and corner Riverside street (first lane from center), Quezon City
    • EDSA northbound from Mahal Kita Hotel to Taft Ave. (second  lane from median Island)
    • A. Bonifacio Ave. southbound corner Sergeant Rivera (first lane from sidewalk), Quezon City
    • C-5 Service Road southbound, Bagong Ilog before the stop light going to Pasig Boulevard Extension (portions of first and second lanes), Pasig City

    The DPWH pointed out that the aforementioned roads will only be fully passable by 5 a.m. on Monday (April 3).

    In the meantime, motorists are advised to take alternate routes.
