ADVISORY: DPWH undertakes concreting, reblocking on CM Recto Ave.
The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) announced that its North Manila District Engineering Office (NMDEO) has initiated the concreting and reblocking works at CM Recto Avenue.

Cano Street.Slow traffic is expected as the agency stated that it will work on the inner northbound lane of CM Recto Avenue, 307.90 meters linear meters from Juna Luna Street. The undertaking is expected to cause partial road closure (half lane) until August 23, 2023.
Repair activities will include road sections of CM Recto Avenue in northbound directions, between Juan Luna and L. Cano Street. DPWH-NMDEO will start the mobilization of equipment, to be followed by construction activities such as breaking and hauling of existing concrete pavement, followed by base preparation after which is the pouring and curing of concrete pavement.
Motorists are advised to take alternate routes.
The abovementioned project is part of the DPWH National Capital Region’s preventive rehabilitation on national roads around Metro Manila, to provide safer roadways for motorists and commuters.
