After the planned unveiling last month was delayed, Motor Image Pilipinas, Inc., announced the availability of the all-new Subaru Evoltis in the country.

Known as the Ascent in the North American region, the Subaru Evoltis (the largest vehicle in the lineup), is the only model made in the United States that will be offered in the Asian region.

Powering the all-new Subaru Evoltis is the latest-generation FA24, 2.4-liter turbocharged Boxer Engine paired to a lineatronic continuous variable transmission. The powertrain pairing allows the vehicle to reach a peak output of 260horsepower and 375Nm torque. The vehicle also boasts a 5,000-pound towing capacity.

Measuring 4,998mm long, 1,930m wide, and 1,819mm tall, with a ground clearance of 220mm, the Evoltis is set to rival the Toyota PradoHonda Pilot, and Ford Explorer.

Further, the newest offer is built on the Subaru Global Platform, and enjoys the Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive with X-Mode. With over 100 safety features, the all-new Subaru Evoltis is equipped with EyeSight, the only stereo-camera based safety system in its class, as well as other driver assistive technologies such as Adaptive Cruise Control, Pre-Collision Braking, Pre-Collision Throttle Management, Lane Departure Warning, Lane Sway Warning, and Lead Vehicle Start Alert.

Complemented by a 2,890mm wheelbase, the all-new Evoltis offers a roomy interior for passengers, thanks to 2-2-3 layout, where the second row is fitted with captain seats. Owners can enjoy more than 4,700 liters of cabin space.

Evoltis provides luxurious features such as an eight-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto mated to a 14-speaker, 792-watt Harman/Kardon sound system.

Further, the vehicle also houses a 54-inch panoramic sunroof, three-zone automatic climate control with rear-seat controls, smart rearview mirror, multiple USB ports, power outlets, and 19 cup and bottle holders located around the cabin.

MIP Country Manager Gerry Hernandez expressed pride over their latest offer.

“We are entering the premium seven-seater SUV market with this spacious, feature-packed model. It has the best safety features in the segment with EyeSight as standard. It has excellent handling, drivability, and power, possessing all the hallmarks of a Subaru vehicle built on the Subaru Global Platform and equipped with Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive. It can even tow boats. It is well-designed and practical, with thoughtful details to make every journey comfortable for all passengers, such as second-row captain seats and true third-row seating. It may not be the cheapest in its segment, but it is the best value proposition for the family,” he said.

Though it only has one variant offered in the country– the Evoltis 2.4 Touring EyeSight—customers can pick within the five color options:

  • Crystal White Pearl,
  • Ice Silver Metallic,
  • Crystal Black Silica,
  • Crimson Red Pearl, and
  • Abyss Blue Pearl (brand-new color).

The all-new Evoltis will be sold for ₱3.48 million.

Moreover, MIP said that the first 50 customers who register online at https://www.subaru.asia/evoltis/ and complete their purchase of an all-new Subaru Evoltis will also receive a limited-edition Evoltis watch to match their brand-new vehicle.
