Honda UK has launched a new virtual showroom to mark the impending physical arrival of its all-new HR-V in November.
"The car browsing innovation offers customers an extremely realistic experience, including a virtual demonstration, of the latest coupe-styled SUV to join the brand’s hybrid car family before it hits dealerships," the carmaker said in a statement.
Customers can take a 360-degree digital tour of the HR-V in three different themes: Seamlessly Connected, Ultra-Responsive, and Cleverly Packaged.
Each environment aims to highlight the features that are ideal for urban, rural, and family buyers. All experiences provide a close-up look at both the interior and exterior of the car through videos and image galleries.
Honda UK added that with the virtual tour, prospective buyers can envision what it might be like to own a HR-V. The virtual showroom can be visited here.
In addition, the carmaker is also offering a personalized Virtual Demonstration in which customers can book a live product demonstration with a Honda product expert. Customers will receive a 30-minute, one-on-one consultation from the comfort of their home, that will include a guided viewing of the HR-V and live responses to any questions.
“Our brand-new HR-V is a truly unique car. It offers a perfect blend of sport coupe-style SUV looks, with a dynamic and efficient driving experience through a clever e:HEV powertrain inspired by F1 technology," Honda UK Head of Automobile Rebecca Adamson said.
"Like the product, we also wanted to take an innovative approach to its launch and make the car really accessible," she added.
Honda Cars Philippines Inc., (HCPI) also features a virtual showroom in its website. Here, one can reserve a vehicle, schedule a service appointment or test drive, and ask a sales consultant availability of a unit through live chat.
The local HR-V is powered by a 1.8-liter i-VTEC engine, with Honda Earth Dreams Technology, that produces a maximum power of 140 horses and 172Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a continuously variable transmission (CVT) that drives the front wheels.
