The all-new Nissan Patrol is powered by a new 3.5-liter V-6 twin-turbo engine.
  • How much power does the all-new Nissan Patrol make?

The all-new Nissan Patrol makes 425 horsepower and 700 Newton-meters of torque.
  • The iconic sport utility vehicle (SUV) — now on its seventh generation — broke cover at an exclusive event in Abu Dhabi. Nissan Motor Company Limited President and Chief Executive Officer Makoto Uchida, presented the latest iteration of the storied nameplate.

“The all-new Patrol is a prime example of the exciting and empowering models we are delivering under our global business plan, The Arc. The seventh generation is a bold leap forward, blending unparalleled performance, cutting-edge technology, and a commanding presence to redefine what an SUV can be. With its history of more than 70 years, the Patrol perfectly embodies our corporate purpose of ‘Driving innovation to enrich people’s lives,’” Uchida noted.

    Exterior

Outside, the all-new Nissan Patrol boasts an “unmissable road presence” with a “captivating visual impact” that bridges the marque’s heritage with a forward-thinking vision.

At the fore, the SUV dons Nissan’s signature V-motion grille flanked by enhanced Double C-shaped headlights featuring adaptive driving beam technology. Complementing this is the Patrol’s rear facade, which echoes the front grille with a full-width light bar.

To its sides are 22-inch alloy wheels, which not only enhance its road presence but also provide high ground clearance for superior off-road performance.

One new notable feature is the puddle lamp with an illuminated motif featuring the iconic Nissan Patrol silhouette and the text “Since 1951.” Per the carmaker, the said appointment is a nod to the Japanese principle of omotenashi, or thoughtful hospitality, ensuring that every interaction with the Patrol feels special and welcoming.

    Interior

Upon entry, the all-new Nissan Patrol wows with its expansive cabin, which boasts a standard panoramic sunroof that invites natural light when desired.

Eye-catching are its digital screens, comprised of two 14.3-inch displays that provide a comprehensive view of navigation, entertainment, and vehicle information. In total, the overall screen real estate measures up to 28.6 inches.

Those sitting at the back can also enjoy in-car entertainment in the form of optional 12.8-inch screens, supporting entertainment on the go, via Miracast, HDMI, or USB inputs.

Audio from connected devices can be heard through its 12-speaker Klipsch Premium Audio system. The sound system comes with DynamicAudioReveal technology, which adjusts audio equalization — clarity and depth — based on environmental conditions. Further, the DJX 3D Surround system envelops occupants in a rich, concert-like auditory experience.

Improving passenger experience are notable features such as Biometric Cooling technology, innovative EZ flex seat, quilted upholstery, and a 64-color ambient lighting system.

    Power, performance

Under the hood of the all-new Nissan Patrol is a new 3.5-liter V-6 twin-turbo engine with a high heat-resistant turbocharger and scavenge oil pump for consistent lubrication on slopes and inclines, resulting in reliable performance across all terrains.

It makes 425 horsepower and 700 Newton-meters (Nm) of torque.

On the other hand, Nissan is offering an optional 3.8-liter naturally aspirated V6 engine, which puts out some 316 horses and 386 Nm of pulling power.

Facilitating gear shifts is a nine-speed automatic transmission.

The SUV comes with six distinct drive modes, namely Standard, Sand, Rock, Mud/Rut, Eco, and Sport.

Suspension-wise, the all-new Nissan Patrol gets a dynamic setup, which leverages e-damper technology that automatically adjusts the damper settings according to the driving conditions. It also gets adaptive air suspension allowing for adjustable ride height, effortless on-road cruising, and off-road performance.

“As Nissan’s oldest nameplate and knowing the reverence in which the Patrol is held, the new seventh generation brings more performance, with better fuel economy, as well as outstanding and easy-to-use tech. The all-new Patrol is a technical tour de force combined with craftmanship, precision, and practicality. It will transport families and friends in effortless comfort across the most demanding dunes, challenging mountains, or busy urban jungles. Drivers and passengers will relish the ride — regardless of the destination, Nissan Motor Company Limited Chief Planning Officer Ivan Espinosa stated.

The all-new Nissan Patrol gets a base price of US$65,000 or approximately P3.668 million.
