Nissan Philippines has introduced the all-new Z to the market that further expanded its high-performance lineup in the country.
The model, launched over the weekend, brought a host of new technological features while paying homage to the Japanese automakers’ motorsport heritage.
Powering the all-new Nissan Z is the 3.0-liter turbo engine that has the capability to deliver 400 horsepower and 475 Newton-meters of torque. It is paired to either a six-speed manual gearbox or a nine-speed automatic transmission with manual mode.
In addition, the brand’s local distributor shared that the all-new Nissan Z was developed to deliver a well-rounded driving experience — thanks to its enhanced suspension system and upgraded brakes.
Further, the all-new Nissan Z wears a 240Z-inspired grille — a nod to the legendary Z cars of the past — to match the distinct headlight design.
Additionally, the latest iteration of the storied nameplate is fitted with new technology features such as a rearview monitor, digital dashboard on Sport Mode as well as front and rear sonar sensors.
The company also noted that the all-new Z is equipped with the full suite of Nissan Intelligent Mobility features, including new additions such as forward crash warning, intelligent cruise control, anti-lock braking system and traction control system, advanced airbag system and automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection.
With a starting price of P3.888 million, the reservation for the all-new Nissan Z will commence on September 21, 2023.
Here are the body color options for the said vehicle: Ikazuchi Yellow, Passion Red, Everest White, Boulder Gray Pearl, Seiran Blue, and Black Diamond Pearl.
Aside from the all-new model, the company has also released the updated Nissan GT-R.
Since it is just a refreshed model, the all-wheel-drive vehicle is still powered by the 3.8-liter V6 mill matched to a six-speed dual clutch transmission. The combination dishes out 562 horses and 637 Nm of pulling power.
To be retailed at Nissan Quezon Avenue, the spruced-up GT-R will wear a price tag of P12.445 million.
Below are the following hues of the new Nissan GT-R:
"We are thrilled to introduce the All-New Nissan Z and the New Nissan GT-R to our passionate and dedicated fans in the Philippines," Nissan Philippines President Juan Manuel Hoyos was quoted as saying. "These models represent the culmination of Nissan's legacy of innovation, blending cutting-edge technology with the spirit of our iconic vehicles. Whether you're seeking heart-pounding performance or a thrilling driving experience, these models deliver on every front."
