Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) has officially launched the all-new Wigo.
Now on its second-generation, the all-new Toyota Wigo (sourced from neighboring country Indonesia) sports an improved look and performance, and now comes with more technological features.
“This is a very exciting launch for us at Toyota Motor Philippines because we know that the Wigo is one of the favorite Toyota models of Filipinos. The Wigo has given many new car buyers their memorable first car experience. In fact, we have given thrill and joy to more than 149,000 Wigo owners since the model was introduced in the country in 2014,” TMP President Atsuhiro Okamoto noted.
Bigger and wider compared to its previous version, the all-new Toyota Wigo is 3,760 millimeters long, 1,655 mm wide and 1,515 mm tall — resulting to increased interior and cargo space.
Inside, the latest version of the entry-level offering is fitted with fabric seats complemented by easy-to-clean plastic appointments. Other amenities include electronic power steering wheel, smart keyless entry, and push start ignition system and eight-inch infotainment system that is Apple Carplay and Android Auto compatible.
Further, the all-new Toyota Wigo's power comes from the efficient 1.0-liter mill mated to a five-speed manual gearbox or continuously variable transmission.
The all-new Toyota Wigo has ample safety features such as airbags and a pair of Isofix tether anchors as well as vehicle stability control and hill-start assist.
Available in Red Mica Metallic, Orange Metallic, Yellow SE, Silver Metallic, Gray Metallic and White, the all-new Toyota Wigo comes in three variants with the following price tags:
