I have been privileged to sit as a member of its Board of Trustees and have witnessed the agility, passion and selflessness of the people that has steered the foundation to where it is now. The Amcham Foundation has enabled various US companies like Chevron, take their CSR work a notch higher by allowing socio-community work to be embedded in their business objectives and employee engagements. I encourage other AMCHAM members to partner with the Foundation and be catalysts for change.”
A long-time member of AMCHAM Philippines and its socio-civic arm the AmCham Foundation, Chevron Philippines, Inc. has also worked with other various AMCHAM Fnd. initiatives such as community waste reduction, coastal cleanups, road safety, and livelihood training for disadvantaged people groups.
The annual charity thanksgiving event not only gathers the philanthropists, but it also gives back to the community by raising funds for deserving underprivileged students to give them access to a better education. All proceeds of the event goes directly to the AmCham Foundation Scholarship Program.
