ANG unleashes all-new Jeep Gladiator into PH arena
Auto Nation Group, the official local distributor of Jeep in the Philippines, has brought to the American car brand's latest pickup truck to the country, the all-new Gladiator.
Unveiled via digital launch last Saturday, the all-new Gladiator will be the first truck produced by Jeep after production of the Comanche was stopped back in 1992.
Since every Jeep is known for the brand's signature rugged character, the all-new Jeep Gladiator expectedly takes its truck capabilities, utilities and functionalities to whole new level.
Under its bonnet is the proven 3.6L Pentastar V6 Engine mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission, which can dish out 285 horsepower and 352 Nm torque. It has a 7,000-pound (3,175-kg) towing capability, meaning, pulling power will not be an issue with the all-new Gladiator.
Upfront is a Power Dome Dual Vented Hood that effectively dissipates heat from the engine compartment while adding up to the rugged look of the all-new Jeep Gladiator.
Just like the Wrangler, the all-new Jeep Gladiator has aluminum doors, windshield and freedom top that can easily be dismantled in around 20 minutes. And if you have a Wrangler, the aluminum doors of the Gladiator fit on it perfectly. The truck bed provides five-foot vertical storage.
Sitting on top of the 35-inch tires are body-colored fenders. As for the Jeep Gladiator Rubicon variant, it comes standard with Steel Rear Bumpers and Rock Rails, which were only offered as an add-on accessory before.
To secure the fuel tank and transfer case, the all-new Jeep Gladiator has Steel Skid Plates in case you want to cover challenging terrains.
For its interior, the all-new Jeep Gladiator possesses a Cluster 7.0 TFT color display infotainment system housed in a 8.4-inch Uconnect touchscreen display that supports both Apple Carplay and Android Auto. The display is protected by a rubberized frame in case you want to drive open-top under the rain. Crisp sounds are blasted through an Alpine Premium Audio System.
For safety, the all-new Jeep Gladiator relies on a Remote Start System, Blind Spot Monitoring, ParkView Rear Back-up camera and an Engine Stop-start system.
Thanks to its Off-road Plus Mode, the all-new Jeep Gladiator is one trail-rated pick-up truck—add to that the Electronic Sway Bar Disconnect for an increased articulation of the front axle, Tru-Lok Front and Rear Differentials plus Fox Shocks suspension, and it is ready to face any obstacle.
The all-new Jeep Gladiator is offered at P4.79 million for the Rubicon variant and P3.89 million for the Gladiator Sport.
Relatedly, Auto Nation Group announced that all newly-introduced vehicles for the year has exclusive offers.
They are offering P160,000-discount for the Renegade and Compass, which will now only cost at about P1.49 million and P1.69 million respectively.
