KEY TAKEAWAYS
How many units of the Aston Martin Valhalla will be produced?
The Aston Martin Valhalla will only have 999 units. When will the deliveries for the Valhalla start?
Aston Martin will begin delivering the units of the Valhalla in the second half of 2023.Aston Martin Manila President and Chairman Marc Tagle shared the information last week during a luncheon meeting with the media.
According to him, deliveries around the world for Aston Martin’s special model (which has a production limit of 999) will start in the second half of 2023.
The brand’s mid-engine supercar is powered by three motors (a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine and two e-motors each mounted on the front and rear axles) paired to an eight-speed dual clutch transmission with e-reverse and e-differential. The powertrain allows the vehicle to cover 0-100 kilometers per hour (kph) in around 2.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 350kph.
Aston Martin said that the Valhalla’s cockpit area is bigger compared to its sibling, the Valkyrie.
Further, the vehicle car manufacturer said that many Formula One-inspired hallmarks remain, such as the trimmed cockpit design and driver-centric ergonomics.
“An innovative new Aston Martin HMI system features a central touchscreen display and incorporates Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Adjustable pedals and steering column enable the seat bases to be fixed to the chassis structure. The footwells are also raised for a low hip-to-heel seating position redolent of a Formula One car,” Aston Martin noted in an earlier statement.
Carmudi Philippines earlier reported that an Aston Martin Valkyrie is set to be turned over to a buyer in the Philippines. However, Tagle did not disclose who the buyer was.
