Aston Martin Manila to launch DBX SUV in July
Aston Martin Manila announced that it will formally unveil the DBX, the brand’s very first sports utility vehicle, in the local market.
In an announcement through its Facebook page, DBPhils Motorsports Inc. (the official local importer of the British luxury marque) said that it will be introducing the offering on July 2.
The said model — first unveiled in Beijing in November 2019 — is expected to go head-to-head with other luxury giants in the country such as the Lamborghini Urus and the Bentley Bentayga. This vehicle first rolled out of the production line in Wales in July last year.
The Aston Martin DBX is powered by a four-liter, twin-turbocharged V8 engine paired to a nine-speed torque convertor automatic gearbox. The same engine is equipped in the Vantage and the DB11 — both currently retailed in the Philippines.
In the UK, the DBX is offered at £158,000 or roughly ₱10.689 million (when directly converted).
