Audi Philippines now carries the latest version of the Q7 SUV — upping the ante on space and luxury.
The 2021 Audi Q7 TDI is bannered by a more spacious interior that bests its direct competitors — ensuring class-leading headroom and elbow room for its seven occupants.
Aside from elegance and roominess, the new Audi Q7 welcomes occupants with a seamless cockpit architecture highlighted by two large touchscreens. When the vehicle is switched off, the top display slots almost invisibly blend into the large black decorative surface.
Its premium features include the Audi Virtual Cockpit Plus that has a high-resolution color information display; MMI navigation plus with MMI touch response; three-spoke leather-covered multifunction plus steering wheel with paddle shifters; a Bang & Olufsen premium audio system; an ambient LED lighting package; four-zone automatic air-conditioning; and Audi Music Interface in the rear seat.
The 2021 Audi Q7 offers as much as 2,050 liters of trunk space, with a flat load area. Occupants can be aided by the electrically operated tailgate, as well as the power-latching, soft-closing doors.
The new Audi Q7 is equipped with a 3.0-liter TDI V6 turbocharged diesel engine paired to an eight-speed tiptronic transmission, which sends the engine’s output to the Quattro all-wheel drive system. The engine delivers a maximum of 286 horsepower and 600Nm. The powertrain utilizes a mild-hybrid system—with a belt alternator starter to power a 48-volt main electrical system, in which a compact lithium-ion battery stores the energy.
During braking, the system recovers energy then uses it to allow the vehicle to coast for up to 40 seconds with the engine switched off. The engine restarts immediately as soon as the accelerator is pressed.
On the outside, the new Audi Q7’s distinguishing features consist of a Singleframe grille with six upright slats, two-part side air inlets and sill area as well as the light signature of the headlamps’ HD Matrix LED technology. The rear chrome strip has been refreshed with flat taillights with technical-looking graphics that connect with the body’s horizontal line. The vehicle sits on 20-inch cast aluminum wheels in 5-V spoke turbine design.
The latest Audi Q7 wears a host of safety equipment such as full-size airbags in front, airbags at the outboard sides of the front and rear passengers, Isofix child seat mountings, Parking Aid Plus with 360-degree display, tire pressure monitoring, advanced traction and stability control systems, among others.
Customers may now view the new Audi Q7 on-site or online via Audi Live View. The fully digital luxury experience lets clients engage in real time, via a smartphone, with an Audi product expert who is at an Audi Philippines showroom.
