Luxury does not come cheap, but you'll be surprised by how much of a discount Audi Philippines is giving to those who are in the market for the new Audi A8 L, through the ongoing Audi Factory Warehouse Sale 2.0 promo.
The new Audi A8 L 3.0 TFSI MHEV, backed by a five-year warranty, is among the model units being offered with more than P1 million in discount—putting a huge slash on its price tag.
The said promo, launched with the special support of Audi AG, is up until August 31.
The new Audi A8 L is equipped with a 3.0-liter, turbocharged V6 gasoline engine mated to an eight-stage tiptronic transmission that can give out 335 horsepower (hp) and 500 Nm of torque.
It also has a mild-hybrid system composed of a belt alternator starter (BAS) and a lithium-ion battery with 10 Ah electrical capacity, which allows the car to coast between 55 kilometers per hour (km/h) and 160 km/h with the engine switched off, cutting off smoke emissions for up to 40 seconds.
The BAS would immediately and smoothly restart once the driver hits the gas pedal. The 48-volt system that acts as the main electrical system provides high recuperation power of up to 12 kW plus start-stop operation from 22 km/h.
Comfort is one of the features that the new Audi A8 L 3.0 TFSI MHEV does not fall short of, thanks to its predictive active suspension and long wheelbase.
The predictive active suspension settings have two preset functions that also work with the Audi drive select dynamic handling system: dynamic and comfort plus.
The “dynamic” mode gives it a firm stance when attacking a bend, while “comfort plus” glides over any surface with occupants barely noticing the cornering.
On the inside, the long wheelbase of the Audi A8 L provides a roomy interior. Throw in the elegant lounge-like amenities and the Rear Seat Entertainment system (two Audi tablets and the Rear Seat Remote) and a cool box and one can experience luxury in an instant.
Other refined features include the 360° 3D-view camera, panoramic sunroof, an air quality package composed on an air ionizer and perfume, multi-function massage in all seats, and a Bang & Olufsen audio system.
