Audi presents electric mountain bike
Audi announced that it has expanded its range of e-mobility products with the addition of an electric mountain bike, powered by Fantic — an Italian motorcycle and electric bicycle manufacturer.

The Audi electric mountain bike’s four modes are Eco, Tour, Sport, and Boost.The new electric mountain bike is part of the Audi Genuine Accessories line and is seen as the next step in the German carmaker’s effort to offer alternative means beyond four wheels.

The Audi electric mountain bike in cooperation with Fantic is another fantastic example of how we can expand our mobility offering to customers that extends beyond the award-winning models they drive,” said Audi United Kingdom Director Andrew Doyle.
The Audi electric mountain bike uses a Fantic Integra 36-volt battery, which is located within the frame and is marked out by eye-catching e-tron branding and decals. The battery sends power to the Brose S-MAG 36-volt 250-watt motor to deliver up to 90Nm of torque.
According to the Ingolstadt-based marque, the electric mountain bike provides riders with four levels of electrical assistance: Eco, Tour, Sport, and Boost.
“Eco has been calibrated to deliver maximum efficiency and range with notable electrical assistance, while Tour brings a notable level of electrical boost. Sport has been engineered to add powerful assistance for sport cycling and the final mode, Boost, delivers the maximum level of electrical assistance for challenging, hilly routes,” Audi explained in a press release.
Further notable appointments include an Öhlins front fork with 180 millimeters of travel, wide Mavic E-Deemax tubeless-ready wheels, Vittoria off-road tires, a small digital display located on the handlebars, and Sram components (chainrings, rear derailleur, shift levers, and chain).
The Audi electric mountain bike powered by Fantic is only currently available in the United Kingdom. Its price has yet to be disclosed.
