Audi puts Q6 e-tron prototype through its paces in Northern Europe

According to the brand, the Audi Q6 e-tron model series will be offered in both SUV and Sportback body variants.While the specifics of the said tests were not mentioned, it is clear that the German automotive brand looks to assess and evaluate its new Premium Platform Electric (PPE) technology platform, which the future model series will use.
Audi’s PPE platform is comprised of an 800-volt electrical system, powerful and efficient electric motors, an innovative battery and charging management system, as well as a newly developed electronics architecture.
“Our Vorsprung 2030 strategy provides the right answers, even in times of multiple crises. We are completely focused on sustainability and systematically advancing the digitalization and electrification of our products,” said Audi Chief Executive Officer Markus Duesmann.
The upcoming Audi Q6 e-tron model series will be offered in both SUV and Sportback body variants.
Soon to enter production, the Audi Q6 e-tron marks the Ingolstadt-based brand’s largest model offensive, which will see it introduce more than 20 new models by 2025 — more than ten of which will be electric.
