After 10 years of success with the famed V10 engine, Audi is making sure that the R8 V10 quattro goes out with a bang. Audi of America has just announced the availability of a limited edition R8 V10 quattro model which will be available in three color options: Mugello Blue, Avus Silver, and Sonoma Green.
Only 30 units of this model will be made, and it will be equipped with technologies and features that were previously only available for the performance model. Aside from that, there are also exclusive unique interior and exterior design elements for this variant alone. The R8 V10 performance quattro model will continue on for the 2021 model year.
The limited edition R8 V10 quattro will feature a naturally aspirated V10 engine, a 7-speed dual clutch transmission, an all-wheel drive configuration, and a practical yet technologically advanced cabin. The R8 V10 quattro can push out 562 hp and 550 Nm of torque, and it can go from a complete standstill to 100 kph in just 3.4 seconds, achieving breakneck speeds of 323 kph for the Coupe, or 0-100 kph in 3.5 seconds with a top track speed of 321 kph for the Spyder variation.
Coupe variants will be offered in the following Audi exclusive paint colors: 15 units will be finished in Mugello Blue with pastel silver interior, five units will be wrapped in Avus Silver with black interior and red stitching, and five Sonoma Green with black interior and gray stitching. Five Spyders will be offered solely in Mugello Blue with pastel silver interior.
Every vehicle will come standard with Audi exclusive floor mats, complete with piping and stitching color-matched to the interior. Each vehicle also comes fitted with 20-inch milled wheels that are finished in silver, a first for an R8 in the U.S.
The sporty theme continues inside the cabin, as the limited edition R8 comes with a three-spoke multi-function flat-bottomed steering wheel with shift paddles and steering wheel-mounted controls. The coupe models also feature a diamond stitched Alcantara headliner.
The limited edition R8 V10 quattro is scheduled go on sale later this year starting at $186,000 (Php 9.18 million) for the Coupe and $195,900 (Php 9.66 million) for the Spyder.
In the Philippines, the regular coupe version of the Audi R8 is for sale at Php 17.5 million, while the Audi R8 Spyder retails for Php 7.76 million.
