The first of which is the 45 TDI quattro — a 3.0-liter diesel engine that makes as much as 227 horsepower (hp) and 500 Newton-meters (Nm) of torque.
This setup allows the Audi Q8 to speed from a standstill to 100 kilometers per hour (kph) in 7.1 seconds with a top speed of 226kph.
Next is a more powerful mill in the form of the 50 TDI quattro, which pushes the envelope and puts out a maximum of 282 horses and 600Nm of pulling power.
The said arrangement allows the Audi Q8 crossover to accelerate from zero to 100kph in 6.1 seconds. Speed peaks at 241kph.
Audi also makes the updated Q8 available with its 55 TFSI (turbo fuel stratified injection) powerplant, which features a six-cylinder Otto engine with three liters of displacement and direct fuel injection.

For those who want something more, Audi is offering the upgraded crossover in a sportier packaging dubbed the SQ8.
Here, the automobile gets a 4.0 TFSI powerplant that generates 500 beefy horses and around 770Nm of almost instantaneous torque. The engine is mated to a fast-shifting eight-speed tiptronic and quattro permanent all-wheel drive setup, which propels the vehicle from a dead halt to 100kph in just 4.1 seconds.
Top speed is at 250kph.
The refreshed Audi Q8 also benefits from a revised exterior with new front and rear aprons, HD Matrix LED headlights, digital OLED rear lights, as well as new wheels, colors, decorative inlays, and seats with contrast stitching.
