Automobil Lamborghini Achieves Unprecedented Sales Profits in Its History

Automobil Lamborghini has something to smile about these days: the Italian company has recently achieved its best sales performance, and surpassed all its previous "key business benchmarks" in its 2019 Fiscal Year. Lamborghini headquarters Its turnover grew by 28 percent, from 1.42 to 1.81 billion Euro, with a global sales increase by 43 percent, from 5,750 to 8,205 units. Its top sales were from its super sports car model lines, V12 Aventador (1,104 units) and V10 Huracán (2,139 units). It also garnered strong sales for its Super SUV Urus, with around 5,000 units sold worldwide. All this accounted for record sales performance in the EMEA, America, and Asia Pacific regions. Moreover, Lamborghini continues its winning streak, with an attractive product portfolio that boasts of 165 dealers that currently serve 51 countries.

Top Employer

The Italian company was once again recognized as one of the most attractive employers in 2019, gaining the Top Employer Italia certification for the seventh consecutive year. Due to its reputation, the company's staff has already reached 1,787 employees at the end of 2019. Stefano Domenicali, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Automobili Lamborghini commented: “Our 2019 results reflect the talent and dedication of all Lamborghini staff around the world and we thank them and our shareholders for their trust and continuing support," he said. "We are sure of the strength, the energy, the enthusiasm, the passion and the deliberateness that characterize the women and men in Lamborghini, also during these difficult times. By building on our results so far, we continue to prepare for further sustainable growth and new opportunities in innovation and technology in order to reach new future milestones.” Lamborghini factory The CEO also had something to say on the Coronavirus outbreak that has been plaguing the global scene: “While celebrating these figures we must underline the extraordinariness of the situation in which we find ourselves right now, from both a human and corporate perspective, due to the worldwide spread of Coronavirus. Lamborghini's chairman also expressed his gratitude to individuals working in the security, health, service, and medical institutions for their untiring contributions in managing the crisis today. "I would like to thank all the people - especially those in the services, medical and health sectors, institutions and the security forces - who are contributing to the management of this crisis in a remarkable way." He also added how the crisis has changed how our interpersonal relationships have changed across the world, and everyone should be ready to react to these rapidly changing new circumstances in a "rational and effective way".
