Changan Motor Philippines Incorporated (CMPI) is positioning the manual transmission variant of the Alsvin as a partner for taxi and transport network vehicle service businesses.
According to the Chinese automotive marque’s local distributor, the Changan Alsvin 1.4L 5MT is “ready to be fitted to move one’s mobility business.
CMPI showcased the subcompact sedan at the “Biyahenyong Aasenso Showcase” held early this month wherein the public was given the chance to see the car’s features that makes it a safe and comfortable city ride.
Per the brand’s distributor in the country, the cabin of the Changan Alsvin 1.4L 5MT features air-conditioning system with PM 0.1 air filter; a seven-inch multimedia touchscreen system with Bluetooth and USB connectivity and video playback option.
The driver area enjoys a four-way manual adjustable seat; electric power steering; and steering wheel fitted with infotainment system controls.
In addition, the Changan Alsvin 1.4L 5MT comes with a 382-liter trunk capacity that can carry luggages.
Powering the vehicle is a 1.4-liter naturally-aspirated gasoline mill that can deliver nearly 100 horses and 135 Newton-meters of pulling power.
Further, the vehicle comes with numerous safety and convenience technologies like dual front airbags, anti-lock braking system with electronic brake-force distribution, reverse camera tire pressure monitoring system, child safety lock; ISOFIX tethers, seatbelt reminder, keyless entry, adjustable follow-me-home headlamps that you can set to stay lit from 10-120 seconds to provide a safe path while parking in a dim or dark area.
Moreover, the Alsvin 1.4L 5MT is packaged with Changan Vital 5 After-Sales package namely the one-year or 100,000-kilometer (km) warranty (whichever comes first); Changan Pacesetter roadside assistance and towing service; the Changan Fastlane’s 60-minute service guarantee with free preventive maintenance service labor for the first year or first 20,000km (whichever comes first).
