Bentley flaunts new fragrance

Bentley added a new scent to its Beyond the Collection offering.

Dubbed Magnetic Amber, the new perfume was made in collaboration with Grasse-born Master Perfumer Karine Dubreuil-Sereni.

“Whenever I work on a project for Bentley, the words that immediately come to my mind are: luxury, refinement, elegance, and use of the finest raw materials,” Dubreuil-Sereni stated.

Per the British automotive brand, the new Bentley Magnetic Amber fragrance is inspired by the treasure of exotic Panama — white amber.

Magnetic Amber offers hints of fresh aromatics like bergamot from Italy, rosemary from Morocco, and cardamom. Olibanum, on the other hand, adds citrus-like, warm, softly woody tones to the fresh accords.

Bringing depth to the perfume is the smell of sensual, smoky vanilla (sourced from Madagascar) and tonka bean with its almond and tobacco facets.

The essence of smooth white amber melds all the aforementioned scents together.

“The note comes from Ambroxan, a raw material yielded by clary sage,” explained the Master Perfumer.

Finally, the concoction of fresh fragrances is highlighted by the scent of labdanum and cedar from Virginia to create a rich, potent drydown extending far into the sweet-breezed Panamanian night.

The Bentley Magnetic Amber is bottled in a flacon that upholds the same exacting standards and attention to detail as the marque’s motorcars.

Inspired by the signature cut-crystal glass headlights of the Continental GT, the 400-gram bottle features an engraved “Winged B” logo on its silver metal shoulders.

The flacon features a wooden bottle cap that echoes the od. Echoing the natural materials used in the fragrance.

According to Bentley, a 100-milliliter bottle of the Magnetic Amber perfume will set customers back £165 (approximately P11,547).
