The Bentley models on display showcased the strongest product portfolio in the history of the brand while cementing the role of Bentley in automotive history. The European debut of the Flying Spur Hybrid is an important part of the Beyond100 strategy. This strategy has Bentley set on becoming a fully end-to-end carbon neutral brand by 2030. On its journey, it will see the entire Bentley range having an electrified drivetrain option by 2024 and the brand’s first BEV in 2025.
“We are very much looking forward to engaging with Belgian customers and fans of the Bentley brand at Autoworld. With the recent announcement of our strong performance across Europe, supported by a double-digit increase result, 2022 will be another busy year with the brand activities ahead of us. While the Flying Spur Hybrid will reach our customers from April onwards, we are excited to hear the feedback from this first public appearance in Europe,” said Bentley Europe Regional Director Balazs Rooz.
The Flying Spur Hybrid marks an important model for Belgium and Europe where demand for electrified products has been exceptionally strong, especially during 2021.
Not only is the Bentley Flying Spur Hybrid the first electrified sedan from the British carmaker, it’s also the most environmentally friendly Bentley to date.
Power comes from a 2.9-liter V6 gasoline engine with an advanced electric motor. This powertrain setup delivers a total of 528 horses (an additional 94hp in comparison to the Bentayga Hybrid) and 750Nm of torque with the capability of reaching over 700 km when fully fueled.
The Bentley Flying Spur Hybrid can go from a standstill to 100kph in just 4.3 seconds and reach a top speed of 285kph.
