  • What was the best-selling Bentley car from January to June of 2023?

  • According to the British carmaker, its revenue for the said time frame in 2023 is €1.681 billion (approximately P101.586 billion). Meanwhile, it made €1.707 billion (around P103.132 billion) from January-June of last year.

Despite the dip — and expected challenging conditions in the next six months — in the marque’s sales, Bentley remained positive and hopeful.

“The positive results for the first six months are largely a reflection of a consistent order bank amassed over the previous months and years and although our current order run rate is good, it is slightly down on the highs we reached in some of our key markets last year. We expect challenging conditions in the second half of the year and so will monitor our supply and stock levels accordingly to ensure our quality of sales is maintained, and adjusted if we so need as the year continues,” commented Bentley Motors Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Adrian Hallmark.

From January-June 2023, Bentley sold exactly 7,096 cars. Of the said sales, the Bentayga was the top contributor as it claimed 44 percent of the company’s total sales for the first half of the year.

Meanwhile, the latest version of the Bentley Flying Spur accounted for 24 percent of the brand’s overall sales for the abovementioned time period. The Continental GT and GTC Grand Tourers made up for the remaining 32 percent.

Market-wise, Bentley revealed that America is its strongest region, followed by China and Europe.

“Despite warnings of challenging conditions ahead, Bentley’s commitment to the marque’s industry-leading Beyond100 strategy continues. This includes a transformation from a W12 and V8-centred product portfolio to fully electric within a decade and in parallel a fully carbon-neutral organization. This, as part of a €3 billion (about P181.323 billion), 10-year investment program in future models and at the Pyms Lane factory in Crewe, England, where all Bentley models are built,” Bentley wrote in a press release.
