Bentley Mulliner to reveal ‘Batur’ at 2022 Monterey Car Week

Bentley’s bespoke coachbuilding division, Bentley Mulliner, has recently finished its latest custom project — the Bacalar. Upon its completion, the personalization pros from the famed British marque said that it would announce its next project soon.

True to its word, Bentley Mulliner revealed that its next project build will debut at this year’s Monterey Car Week.

The Bentley Batur, named after a beautiful natural body of water in Indonesia, will feature an all-new design language for Bentley that showcases themes and forms that will define Bentley’s future range of Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs).

Based on the teaser photo from the Crewe-based luxury carmaker, the Batur will sport a tantalizing two-tone grille in black and red. To those following the automotive beat, these two colors represent sportiness and opulence.

Granted, the Bentley Batur will be luxurious right off the bat, but this seems to hit at a sporty EV.

The Bentley Mulliner Batur will be revealed to the world on August 21, 2022.
