Bentley announced the introduction of the Flying Spur Mulliner’s Blackline specification.
In a statement, the Crewe-headquartered marque said that the introduction of Blackline specification to the Flying Spur Mulliner “builds on the increasing customer popularity of the GT Mulliner Blackline.”
The brand's bespoke coachbuilding division has replaced all the brightware (excluding the Bentley ‘Winged B’ badge) with gloss black versions for the new offering.
The Bentley Flying Spur Mulliner Blackline’s upper mirror caps wear a gloss Beluga black hue in exchange for the satin silver that is typically found on a Flying Spur Mulliner. The signature Mulliner matrix wing vents are now in black color with the bright Mulliner branding.
The radiator grille with bright edges to the 3D design and the lower bumper grilles are also finished in black.
Buyers can choose between the two designs for its blackened 22-inch Mulliner wheels – with contrast polished “pockets” or with self-levelling badges featuring chrome rings. “The new specification allows Mulliner customers further visual contrast with lighter exterior palettes or elegantly blend in with darker color choices,” Bentley shared.
Bentley allows customers to pick the interior’s color combination, or one of the eight recommended three-color combinations, using Bentley’s wide palette of hides and threads.
Further, the Bentley Flying Spur Mulliner Blackline has a “Diamond-in-Diamond” quilting on the seats, and three-dimensional leather to the doors. The famous Bentley Rotating Display, sports pedals, heated duo-tone three-spoke steering wheel and panoramic sunroof are also in the Bentley Flying Spur Mulliner Blackline.
Additional convenience like the electrically-operated picnic tables (which are mounted to the rear of the front seats) can be deployed with a single press of a button.
Clients can choose among the available powertrain options: V8, W12 and the new V6 hybrid.
The 6.0-liter, twin-turbocharged W12 can propel the Bentley Flying Spur Mulliner Blackline Specification in 0-100 kilometers per hour (kph) in 3.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 333kph. The new generation 4.0-liter, twin-turbocharged V8 can go 0-100 kph in 4.1 seconds and go as fast as 318 kph. Meanwhile, the hybrid power mill accelerates 0-100 kph in 4.3 seconds and can go up to 285 kph.
Earlier, Bentley announced that it will reveal the Batur at the 2022 Monterey Car Week.
