Bentley to debut Flying Spur S at Goodwood Festival of Speed

A new addition to the Bentley Flying Spur family will debut at the upcoming Festival of Speed at Goodwood. According to the British luxury car brand, the car that will make its debut next week will be the Flying Spur S — the sporty and driver-focused version of the marque’s pinnacle four-door sedan.

Bentley revealed a photo of the Flying Spur S ahead of its Goodwood debut showing the vehicle to wear plenty of blacked-out appointments. These black trims are found on the vehicle's lower bumper grilles, tailpipes, side mirrors, side accents, and wheels. Likewise, its front and rear lights are decently tinted with the lights at the fore featuring a black border.

Inside, the Flying Spur S will sport a two-tone finish with an abundance of smooth hide and soft-napped Dinamica. This interior finish can be found on the heated steering wheel, gear lever, seat cushions, and seat backrests of the Flying Spur S. Meanwhile, its seat bolsters, door pads, and the trims along the instrument panel and around the console are finished in leather hide.

The Flying Spur S will be offered in both gasoline and hybrid powertrains.

The new S model range will make its debut at the upcoming Goodwood Festival of Speed which runs from Thursday to Sunday, June 23 to 26. Examples of the Flying Spur S, GT S, and GTC S will take to the famous “hillclimb” as part of the First Glance class, and be on display in the paddock throughout the event.

They will be joined by a suite of other Bentleys from past and present, including iconic racecars and a dedicated parade of models to celebrate 40 years of turbocharged Bentleys — with the new S range as the latest members of the lineage.
