The all-new Bentley Continental GT Speed will be officially revealed tomorrow.
In a statement, the automaker said that the grand reveal will be 4 p.m. British standard time (11 p.m. in the Philippines).
Per the Crewe-headquartered marque, the model’s fourth-generation marks an important milestone for the brand’s Beyond100 journey, which is geared toward sustainable luxury mobility.
Based on the Continental GT ((photos shown below), the Bentley Continental GT Speed will be offered in plug-in hybrid options.
Said to be the most powerful Bentley to date, the soon-to-be-unveiled model is equipped with an Ultra Performance Hybrid Powetrain System that can dish out 771 horses and around 1,000 Newton-meters of torque.
It also has the capability to cover up to 80 kilometers of on pure electric mode.
Other notable upgrades done on the fourth-generation Bentley Continental GT Speed include the latest chassis innovations, active all-wheel drive with torque vectoring, four-wheel steering, an electronic limited-slip differential, 48-volt electric active anti-roll control, and new, advanced dual-valve dampers.
Further, Bentley will also share the vehicle’s unofficial “underwater speed record” of 335 kilometers per hour after being tested at the Ryfylke Tunnel in Norway — the longest subsea road tunnel and deepest tunnel of any kind ini the world.
