Bentley has unveiled the limited Bentayga Odyssean Edition. The sport utility vehicle (SUV) not only exudes luxury but also continues the story of extraordinary sustainable design for the British marque.
Powering the Bentley Bentayga Odyssean Edition is a 3.0-liter TFSI V6 gasoline engine and a 100-kilowatt (kW) electric motor generator. This setup generates a maximum power output of 456 horsepower (hp) with a top speed of 254 kilometers per hour (kph). It zooms from standstill to 100kph in just 5.3 seconds.
Despite the impressive data and its thrilling full-throttle acceleration, the electrified powertrain offers near-silent, zero-emission driving in electric vehicle (EV) mode. The new 18-kilowatt-hour (kWh) battery in the Bentley Bentayga Odyssean Edition improves the SUV’s all-electric range to at least 45 kilometers (km).
Sustainability is not only focused on the powertrain but on the materials inside the cabin too. The open pore Koa veneer of the center console uses 90 percent less lacquer than high-gloss veneers. Additionally, sustainable natural leather is used widely across the cabin due to its long-term durability.
The cabin also features panels of beautifully crafted tweed made from 100 percent British wool, twisting a blend of tonal colors into a bespoke yarn to create a unique natural luxury textile, especially for Bentley.
It comes with unique Odyssean Edition treadplates as well as exterior D-pillar badges.
Speaking of exterior appointments, the Bentley Bentayga Odyssean Edition boasts Pale Brodgar accents on the front and rear bumpers, headlight and tail light surrounds, and on its 22-inch 10-spoke wheels.
The Bentley Bentayga Odyssean Edition is limited to just 70 examples. Production, per Bentley, will start in the first quarter of 2023.
