BMW Motorrad presents new ‘F’ lineup
BMW Motorrad has revealed its new premium mid-range touring lineup in the form of its three new “F” models.

All three motorcycles are powered by an 895cc powerplant.The motorcycles showcased by BMW’s two-wheel division are the F 900 GS, F 900 GS Adventure, and F 800 GS. Through the three models, BMW Motorrad aims to provide purists with a fun riding experience thanks to even more sophisticated off-road, touring, and adventure offerings.
“The motorcycle’s range of uses has been considerably expanded thanks to its enhanced off-road qualities combined with a drastic weight reduction of 14 kilograms compared to the predecessor model making it a particularly sporty F Series model,” BMW Motorrad wrote in a press release.
Unique features of the BMW F 900 GS include a significantly lighter plastic fuel tank and rear section, new body parts, new fully adjustable upside-down telescopic forks, a lighter swinging arm, a sport rear silencer by Akrapovič, and an optional Enduro Pro package.
Additionally, the motorcycle comes with enduro footrests, heated grips, hand protectors, an aluminum side stand, a new foot brake lever, a new LED headlight, and a multifunction holder.
The BMW F 900 GS Adventure, on the other hand, builds from the aforementioned BMW F 900 GS but adds other appointments such as an aluminum engine guard, and is offered optionally with the new Ride Pro package.
Meanwhile, the BMW F 800 GS sports a thin-film transistor display as standard, heated grips, an LED headlight, hand protectors, and a Variocase carrier.
All three motorcycles are powered by an advanced two-cylinder in-line engine with increased capacity. The previous F-line motorbikes used to have an 853-cubic centimeter (cc) engine while the new models now have an 895cc powerplant.
As for their power outputs, the BMW F 900 GS and F 900 GS Adventure puts out as much as 105 horsepower while the F 800 GS can generate a maximum power output of 87 horses.
