BMW’s local arm has launched the 3 Series Touring in the Philippines, providing posh car enthusiasts with better options when it comes to luxe station wagons.
Unveiled during the event are the three models in the lineup, namely the BMW 318i Touring, M340i xDrive Touring, and M3 Competition xDrive Touring.
At the front, the BMW 3 Series Touring wears a modern interpretation of the BMW kidney grille flanked by LED headlights.
More aggressive is the fore of the range-topping variant, which dons a larger version of the kidney grille complemented by honeycomb patterns. Additionally, It gets functional air vents to cool the brakes, plus, its bonnet gets indentations that make the front end of the BMW M3 Competition xDrive Touring bolder than its brothers.
To the side, the BMW 3 Series Touring family boasts a long roof that is accompanied by similarly lengthy roof rails. Adding flair to the opulent station wagon’s side profiles are a set of wheels that give each of the variants its own distinct character.
The BMW M3 Competition xDrive Touring, for example, rides on two-tone 19-inch wheels with BMW M Competition badges. They house disc brakes at the front and at the back and are fitted with sporty red brake calipers.
At the rear, the BMW 3 Series Touring offers a roof-mounted spoiler, a third brake lamp, and a pair of LED combination taillamps. As the variant with all the bells and whistles, the top-of-the-line model flaunts quad exhaust pipes and rear diffusers.
The BMW 3 Series Touring roster is priced from P3.89 million to P10.49 million.
Customers looking to drive home a BMW 3 Series Touring need not worry about stock availability as SMC Asia Car Distributors Corporation President Spencer Yu told Carmudi Philippines that the company has ample stock of the nameplate.
